Description
At 3.75 acres and with an average depth of 10 feet this lake is weed free and very intimate for carp fishing France. Groups who are loud and noisy often suffer, with those who are more "water wise" catching the better bags of fish. The lake is let on an “exclusive use basis” with a maximum of 4 anglers fishing at any one time. The rendez-vous point is at Bill's Lake 5 at 11.00am on the Friday morning and your group will be guided to the lake from there. The departure time is 9.00 am the following Friday morning. This lake is booked from Friday to Friday offering clients a full weekend at home at the end of their week to sort their gear out before work the next week. This means that ferry crossings are usually much cheaper, especially if you book with fishingferry.com It is very important that you arrive on time as other lakes check in the same day. The meeting point is at Bill's Lake 5 at 11.00 where you will be escorted to Bill's Lake 2 and checked in. If you arrive early, please wait outside the gates until then, so that we can clean the facilities and be ready to welcome you. Your checkout time is 9am the following Friday. The lake is well stocked with all manner of French carp including mirror carp to 56lbs, commons to over 40lbs, grass carp to 40lbs+, catfish to 80lbs+ along with a few sturgeon. Whenever we have the chance to find quality fish to add to the stock in the winter, we do so. This lovely little lake is very popular with the small group of friends or dads & lads wanting to fish together and have a social which ain't alway possible at many lakes in France. The sheltered swims are spread along one spacious grassy bank, with easy access to the waters’ edge. The lake bottom is gravel with subtle features and slopes gradually to the far margin. A baitboat is very useful on Lake 2, to enable accurate bait placement. There is a large anglers’ cabin equipped with a worktop, table and chairs, gas fridge, solar USB and three pin charging box for your phones and low amperage bait boat battery chargers. There is a clean flush chemical toilet at the entrance to the lake and it is just 600 metres to Lake 5 where there is a shower and toilet available all day. Find the other waters on our complex here: Bills Lake 1 - 14 Acres Bills Lake 3 - 8 Acres Bills Lake 4 - 4 Acres Bills Lake 5 - 8 Acres
