How to fish Lake Bled
If you want to fish one of Europe’s most iconic waters and enjoy some of the fantastic big fish that reside in the stunning Lake Bled, you've come to the right place. We have a limited availability of 1, 2 & 3 bedroom lake-side apartments on our Carp Circle guided fishing trips for each season available to book right here!
Until now, booking to fish on this fairytale lake has been near impossible. Forward booking of tickets, lake-side food, accommodation and guides have all been separate and heavily restricted due to popularity and local regulations. As such planning a viable trip has always been very difficult, that is, until now.

Welcome to Lake Bled
Stunningly beautiful scenery, the famous iconic church on the island and carp growing to 80lb has made this one of the most desirable waters to fish in Europe.
Nestling in the foothills of the Julian Alps, Lake Bled is an enchanting scene from a childhood fairytale with emerald green forests that underline the distant mountains. A magical landscape where you'll want to spend time absorbing its unique peace and tranquility.
The Lake
Lake Bled is a glacier-formed, crystal blue lake, known for its castle and panoramic views. It's also close to Slovenia’s culture-packed capital, Ljubljana.
The lake is around 300 acres in size and very deep with depths to 30 metres (100ft) being common. There are very few shallow areas and fishing in 10+ meters are normal here on the lake.
The Stock
The stock is impressive holding 150 x 40lb carp, 70 x 50lb carp, 20 x 60lb carp and 2 x fish around 70lb with the current record standing at a massive 75lb!
The carp respond to bait very well and accessing one of the many productive areas whilst constantly introducing bait is the best method to catching the Bled carp.
The Experience
As Lake Bled has one of the highest stocks of 50lb+ carp in Europe and rarely offers up anything under 30lb you are sure to land some fantastic fish.
Fishing here runs from an hour before sunrise through to 11pm.
The Town itself has all you'll need but we doubt you'll be able to take your eyes off the remarkable views from the bank of this amazing lake.

Arsen and his team of professional guides will ensure you know all you need to get the best out of the lake and find the big fish.

All Carp Circle packages to Lake Bled include lakeside accommodation to ensure you have the very best experience. As night fishing is not allowed, this ensures you have safe storage of your equipment, easy access to the lake each morning and can relax in the evenings enjoying the fantastic veiws or vsiting the local town.

Our Full Circle Packages include airport transfers for both your inbound and outbound flights. We will arrange collection and drop-off for you and your luggage to ensure you have a hassle-free experience from the minute you arrive until the minute you depart.
We advise flying into Ljubljana where you can find daily budget flights from all London and Luton airports with Easyjet & Lufthansa.
Alternative routes are available with Lufthansa usually changing in Germany.

COVID-19
Currently there still are travel restrictions to and from many European countries and the goal posts keep moving. We recognise that this brings uncertainty when planning your holidays and as such we present 2 options that should help you make your decision and start looking forward to your long overdue trip.
⁓ Any bookings made for specific dates can be changed as required with 14 days notice and evidence that travel rules have either changed or are likely to.
⁓ Open ended bookings can be taken with dates for your trip chosen once the restrictions have been lifted.
