Tribalj lake is an artificial lake in Vinodol, in the hinterland of Crikvenica and is just a few kilometres from the sea. The average depth is four metres and fishing is superb because there aren’t any snags or obstacles. The lake is a good size of 41 hectares and plenty of water in front of you and is full of some of the hardest fighting carp you will come across.

There are plenty of swims on all three sides of the lake and we will always find the best spots and swims to get the most out of this incredible lake for your holiday.

Tribalj is home to some of Europe’s largest Carp with a current lake record over 70lb.

With a stock of more than 2000 carp of which four now tipping the scales over 60lb and another fifty carp now weigh over the 45lb barrier. You are sure to get in on some of the big fish action during your holiday. The lake stock consists of 50% of the carp are mirrors, with the balance consisting of commons & some absolutely fantastic linear carp.

As seen on ITV's Monster carp, arguably the most beautiful lake in Croatia. Tribalj delivers both remarkable views and fantastic carp fishing.

The lake is set close to the sea and deep in the foot of a wide sweeping valley. The weather can change in the blink of an eye so be prepared for some really wild fishing.

Our local guide Mario Kardoš heads up the guiding at Tribalj Lake, they have fished the lake for many years knowing every inch like the back of their hands.

They'll set you up, advise on the best places to fish, explain the swims and features of the lake, visit you daily and be available as required to help in any way they can to ensure you have all you need to catch these big Tribalj lake carp that reside in this stunning lake.

Airport Transfers

Our Full Circle Packages include airport transfers for both your inbound and outbound flights. We will arrange collection and drop-off for you and your luggage to ensure you have a hassle-free experience from the minute you arrive until the minute you depart.

We advise flying into a local airport where you can find daily budget flights from all London and Stansted airports with Lufthansa, Easyjet and Ryanair.

Alternative routes are available with Lufthansa, usually changing in Germany but still very good options.
