Lake Serene 2

Located in the heart of the Champagne region of France, Lake Serene 1 is a mature 16 acre gravel pit and Lake Serene 2 (new sister lake) is a 7 acre gravel pit, both are a carp anglers paradise.

The private and secure site is approached via a small country lane away from any traffic noise.  Tree lined banks and purpose built swims make this an ideal venue for anglers seeking a peaceful and rewarding carp fishing experience.

New for 2011, Lake Serene 2 is a bit of a mystery as we are not sure of the exact stocking, however we are constantly being surprised by the new specimens being caught. The current lake record is 67lb 4oz Leather.

Lake Serene 2 can accommodate parties of up to four anglers. 

Adjacent to the main lake, Serene 2 is a 7 acre water surrounded by mature spruce trees and shrubs. Fully fenced and secure there is a shower, toilet and cabin for cooking meals etc. It has 4 purpose built double swims that can accommodate even the largest bivvy. The lake has a gravel bottom with silt areas and gravel bars. Please drive to and check in at the Main Lake.

Arrival times are on a Saturday to Saturday Basis.
Gates will be open to customers from 1.00 pm onwards 
Departure times are 10.00 am at the latest.

1. No lead core. 
2. No braided main line. 
3. Barbed hooks only. 
4. Minimum 15lb line. 
5. There is a TOTAL BAN of tiger nuts on Lake Serene 1, but they are permitted in moderation (one small tin per person, per week) in Lake 2. 
6. Stalking dawn until dusk only. 
7. No driving around the site.
8. No litter please. 
9. Separate your rubbish into bags of glass bottles, tins and paper and card.
10. No sacking of fish.
11. Do not throw cigarette butts in the swim or in the lake, they look unsightly! Either ask for a tin on a arrival, or bring you own. Buckets of sand are in all swims for cigarette butts – please use them!
