Jurassica2

Jurassica2 is a stunning 31 acre idyllic quiet fishing lake in the Picardy region near Bucy le Long, Soissons. Soissons is a historical town and only 2½ hours from Calais.

J2 is well established and mature with 5 purpose double swims & 3 single swims. The lake has depths that range from 12ft deep to 2ft at its shallowest.  There are gravel bars, plateaus, weed beds and over hanging trees in the margins.

The fish are now gaining weight fast after introducing a feeding program, feeding will be ongoing all year round. J2 is set in a picturesque countryside location in a tree lined tranquil setting. Further details of our location will be given on booking 

We purchased J2 in March 2016 and have lots of new ideas and adventures ahead and intend to maximize the full potential of our beautiful lake.

J2 sits in a sheltered located area surrounded by trees. The local village is only a 5-minute drive away by car with a pharmacy, bakery and local post office/bar. 

 Jurassica2 has amazing facility's including a new shower and toilet block and a new re-designed dining lodge with patio doors with stunning views across the lake to enjoy to when being served your meals, or why not have your food delivered to your swim at no extra cost! Sky TV is now available in the lodge .

You can be confident that your carp fishing holiday will be well organized and most importantly comes with a well stocked lake with stunning fish, we have a good selection of carp with an average weight of 35lbs to mid 60s.

Relax and let us look after you with our meal deal package (compulsory, no drive and survive) which consists of a full English breakfast with evening meal and desert, check out our menu. Our onsite facilities include The Lodge/dining room with adjacent kitchen where we prepare your food, snacks and drinks. A separate shower and toilet block with English power points for charging phones and power packs ect.

Maximum of four rods per person.
Particle baits are only permitted if purchased on J2 site.
Monoline to be used - 15lb minimum
No shock leaders, lead core or braided main line (this includes Korda safe zone leader
Shelf-life boilies are not permitted.
No Plastic baits
Please ensure any equipment you bring is suitable for catching fish over 60lb.
Rods are not to be left unattended at any time. If you leave your swim you MUST reel in.
Fish are to be weighed BEFORE they are photographed. All fish 45lb and over MUST be photographed in the water (please remember to bring waders as the water can be cold on certain months).
Fish are not to be sacked.
Each angler must have some form of fish medication treatment such as Kryston Klinic, Nash Medicarp or Savlon. Any angler arriving without one of the above will be required to purchase some on site before setting up.
Maggots are banned
All rubbish is to be placed in the bins provided. Recycling and normal waste is clearly marked on the top of each bin. KEEP SWIM'S TIDY.
No unaccompanied anglers under the age of 18.
The J2 minimum age is 16 years old.
No glass is to be brought on site. This includes food jars.
Once set up, vehicles are to be parked in the parking area provided near the mobile homes on site. Driving to and from the swims during your stay is not permitted. 
Please ensure that you and all anglers in your party read and understand J2 rules. You will be required to sign that you agree to abide by these rules when you arrive.
All deposits are non-refundable or transferrable
