Description

Premier Carp Fishing in France
Roseau Carp Fishery lies in the small farming village of Boue, North Eastern France, a short 2 hours drive from the port of Calais.

The complex comprises of two lakes, the large lake is 10 acres in size with 10 swims with plenty of water per angler. The Large lake is a true runs water with a stock of 650 Carp to well over 40lb’s, the stock of 20lb and 30lb fish is impressive too with the average weight around the 28lb mark. An average week will produce 30+ fish per angler with the current record of fish to a single angler at 127 and this angler didn’t fish a single night throughout his stay! If runs is what you’re after then Roseau Large Lake is the lake for you.

Roseau’s Small Lake is very much like a private estate lake back home, it truly is a little piece of paradise. The Small Lake is 2 acres in size with three swims along one bank, the swims have been created with platforms and decking which protrude out amongst the reed lined margins.”

The stock is around 150 fish with the average weight around the 28lb mark, the lake record currently stands at 50lb 02oz. We have four 40lb+ present and a very high number of large thirties continuously pushing towards the magical number. The lake is best hired out exclusively to two or three anglers with plenty of water and features for everyone.
The Small lake often produces around 65 fish per week with most of these thirties or very high 20’s, I wouldn’t describe it as a complete runs water like our large lake but 20 fish per angler per week is not uncommon.
