Barbret Main Lake
The 100-year-old Barbret Lake is 1.5 acres for up to 3 anglers. It is located in a peaceful setting in the Brittany countryside. Carp anglers can enjoy fishing for large French carp in comfort, while friends and families can relax around the lakeside accommodation and swimming pool a few yards away. Barbret Lake is perfect for small groups of anglers, couples and families.

Deep Bluu
A short distance from Barbret main lake, Deep Bluu is a small, but very deep specimen lake. It can take one or two anglers and is perfect for getting a bend in the rod if the carp aren't playing ball on the main lake. The depth of the lake is 4.8 metres and it has 2 large swims.

The Fish
Over 80 carp specimens are packed into the main lake at Barbret, with an abundance of Mirror, Common & Grass Carp up to 55lb. There are also catfish to over 80lb and a few tench and bream. The carp weights range from mid 20s to over 50lb, with a good head of 30s and 40s. The fishing is not difficult for experienced anglers.
Deep Bluu is stocked with Common, Mirror and grass Carp along with Catfish.

Accommodation
Just feet from the water is a cosy lakeside cabin, which accommodates 4 people. It includes two separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room and a private jetty for fishing.

Barbret consists of a main carp fishing lake with luxury lakeside accommodation, a separate specimen lake, a swimming pool, a shooting range, a children's play area and optional additional accommodation for larger groups. Perfect for larger groups with carp anglers and their families.

We fully understand that errors can be made. Our guests are required to read and agree to abide by our rules prior to fishing to prevent any misunderstandings. We pride ourselves in careful handling and the condition of our carp. Good carp care is vital, so with this in mind the following rules apply, after all nobody wants to catch carp in bad condition.

No keepnets
Carp cradles are provided and must be used at all times
No barbed hooks
No main line braid
No lead core leaders of any kind
No fixed leads
No Korda goo
Absolutely no sacks allowed at any time without permission
Maximum of 6 rods in the water at any one time with no more than 3 rods per angler
No fish are to be introduced or removed from the lake
Bivvys allowed with permission - No tents
Only the fishery provided landing nets, weigh slings and carp cradles should be used
No nuts to be brought into the fishery. Please use Freezer bait and boilies only
Line over 15lb only when fishing for carp
The booking name is responsible for his/her party and for any damages caused
The management are not responsible for theft or damage to personal property
The cutting of trees and foliage is forbidden
Building fires is not permitted, a BBQ is provided
Please use the toilet provided and not surroundings. All litter is to be placed in bins provided
No swimming in the lake is allowed
No refund returned for early departures
Swims must be left clean
