Mura M2

The Mura Carp Lakes also briefly M1 and M2called, are located in the triangle of Hungary-Croatia-Slovenia. Embedded in the Mur floodplains between Mur and Kerka in the small Hungarian town of Muraszemenye, about 1.5 hours by car from Graz. The two lakes M1 (about 15ha) and the M2 (about 45ha) are two old gravel pits, in a natural landscape and offer a very demanding and interesting fishing which also demands a lot from the fishermen. Many small islands, surrounded by water lilies and lined with old wood, offer the carp a perfect shelter. 

That is why the two bodies of water can be classified as very difficult, challenging but still interesting. Here are a few tips. Mussels & a lot of wood because of the failure of many here, so we recommend a boat for drilling and laying out. Chalk line mono from 0.60mm about 20 meters.No safety hooks but strong hooks with barbed hooks. Heavy leads or stones with a safety clip so that everything stays where you put it and, if necessary, loses its weight to get the fish. Active fishing is very important to us, casting a rod on luck, almost impossible. Feeding particles is only allowed when cooked. (Corn tiger nuts, wheat, etc ...)
Boats with electric motors, bait boats, echo sounders and markers are permitted for use.
The use of Klinikum is compulsory.
Fish caught on the water must NOT be lifted into the boat, but must be carefully carried with the landing net to the bank.
Photos should be taken as quickly as possible, and care must be taken that the fish are constantly moistened to prevent the mucous membranes from drying out.
Under no circumstances may fish be bagged or kept
The cockpit is a well-padded unhooking mat or carp cradle
Placing fish on your stomach and next to the unhooking mat is strict
Two rods with single hooks are allowed per angler, multiple hooks, i.e. system fishing, is strictly forbidden.
The fishing line must be at least 0.35mm and sufficient line must be available, the use of a chalk line (mono) is recommended (at least 0.60mm).
Assemblies can be carried out by boat and drilling from the boat is permitted or recommended.
The fishing grounds are to be kept in order while fishing, any garbage that has arisen is to  be TAKEN ENTIRELY !!!!!
Fireplaces, one-time barbecues and barbecues are allowed in existing places! Cutting trees and shrubs for firewood or other purposes is prohibited , deadwood may be used.
Proper behavior on the entire site and towards neighbors, even after consuming alcohol, is required!
If you intentionally leave the fishing spot for a long time, you must take precautionary measures and remove fishing rods from the water.
Dogs are welcome at the lake, but must be kept at the fishing spot and must not disturb the neighbors' peace and quiet. The owners are responsible for the disposal of the piles! (Control)
On the day of departure, the site must be left clean and tidy.
Upon request of a control supervisory body, the fishing license must be presented, as well as an inspection of fishing tackle, luggage and vehicles.
Nocturnal fishing without a supervisor is prohibited for anglers under the age of 18. The parents or legal guardians bear full responsibility.
Cooling down in the water is allowed to a limited extent in the bank area! NO circumnavigations or crossings of the lake !!!!
Using a spade is compulsory on the islands !! Toilets are available at the M1 and M2.
FOR PREVIOUS FISHERS the general rules apply. Artificial bait, blinkers and live bait are allowed !!
The removal and killing of fish is strictly prohibited and will be reported without exception. Violations may result in dismissal and card withdrawal. Theft will be reported without exception and will be prosecuted !!! The owners assume no liability !!!!!!!!
