The lake being over 13 acres with 10 spacious swims, these being specially constructed, mud free and well spaced and level with the waters edge, blending in perfectly with the stunning mature lake. The lake is set in a stunning setting nestled in the 'Vallee de la Bresle' in the heart of the rolling Normandy country side, with many people liking it to an old English estate lake flourishing in natural lake side vegetation. The Lake is well managed and stocked regularly, friendly and helpful staff ensuring your stay is as comfortable and productive as possible for carp fishing holidays in France.

There are varying depths throughout the lake with margins ranging from 3 – 8ft with the average depth throughout the lake being 7ft and the deepest of 12ft. Features include a good sized island, shallows, deep margins, plateau's/ bars and overhanging trees. The lake has a silt , weed & gravel bottom which is rich in naturals and spring fed ensuring a growth of healthy fish. There are no problem fish i.e. Poisson chat, crayfish Bream etc. giving no reason to net your baits. Superb facilities for big carp fishing in France at Vallee Lake 1 complement the lake with on site secure parking, lake site lodges, quality shower and toilets (with mains water and electricity), free charging and freezer space, tackle shop, bait, hire, food and much more! 

3 Rod limit
no anglers under 18 years old
Strictly no unattended rods. (Even with remotes)
Anglers fishing in Lodge / Cabin area to bivvy on swims while fishing.
No sleeping in Cabins while fishing / no unattended rods.
Use of Micro barb hooks only. STRICTLTY NO BARBLESS HOOKS.
Semi fixed safety or running leads only, please cut all clips back. Recommended Nash weed safety clips /  Heli safe for chods .
No sacking of fish . Retainning slings to be used for a minimum time only (20mins) , Not to be used in hot waether
All lines to be cut in water or hook link unclipped  before fish removed from water.
All fish over 30lbs to be photographed in the water and NOT on the bank.
Ensure you have ALL safety equipment for fish captures and handling i.e. bucket of water, forceps, Klinik, wet towel, landing net minimum of 42”.  (52” recommended.) Please wet all slings /mats prior to fish placement.
Ensure you have 2 x landing nets require with minimum net size
All fish must be treated with KLINIK etc on ALL hook holds etc
No braided main
No leaders of any description , only tubbing allowed
Please dip ALL nets, on arrival prior to fishing
No litter, fires, (remove all litter / cigarette buts from your swims) with swims kept clean and tidy at all times.
NO shelf life boilies  (other than those supplied at the lake)/  preserved baits
NO Pellets or particle other than those purchased from the lake
 No markers in tree line permitted or permanent markers in lake
No swimming or boats (only bait boats) in the lake.
No dogs
Boats available on site for snagged fish etc, (life jackets to be worn at all times : Vallee Lake do not except responsibility for any accidents).
Arrival Strictly not before 10.30am , DEPART @ 0900 (arrival @ noon for accommodation guests) latest arrivals 2pm. Collection from swims no sooner than 8am.
The Lake is a very peaceful and tranquil, please respect your surroundings and other anglers - no shouting or loud music etc.
Any excessive drinking or rowdy behavior will not be tolerated.
Please fish within your allocated swim area only and bivies to be placed on swim areas provided only.
Bivvies to be set up in allocated swim areas only Cars to be parked in designated Car parks ONLY ! NO DRIVING AROUND LAKE
No glass beers /cider bottles allowed all other glass to be taken away
Please keep swims clean and tidy remove rubbish & litter form your swims prior to departure.
A credit card Deposit will be taken for tackle hire and accommodation and refunded on completion subject to any damage / dirt (100€ deposit)
Deposits / cancellation on fishing are non refundable, together with Purchased / ordered bait.
Spot Checks of rigs / bait etc will be done.
