Description
The Cabin Lake is a secluded impressive property, that is incredibly popular with small groups and families. It has its own unique style and immense character with its huge Oak trees and own pine forest, it’s unbelievable that you can easily walk into the local village… You are spoilt for choice at the cabin lake, with two lakes to fish, comfortable accommodation and an above ground pool when it all gets too hot! The Cabin Lake has two lakes, the main lake is 1.5 acres and stocked with over 100 hard fighting Carp (Mirror carp and Common carp) from doubles up to 45lb along with Koi carp, Tench, Pike, Roach, and Rudd. We pride ourselves on good looking carp that are hard fighting and in excellent condition carp. Huge catches are possible on this lake with one group landing 90 carp in one week. The Lake itself is fed from an inlet and goes down to a depth of 12 feet. The Lake bed is sandy and has a silt line running through the middle. The second lake is 0.5acres and is full of smaller fish that’s great for some float fishing. The Cabin Lake comes with its own exclusive self-catering accommodation, decked out with a modern interior, the Cabin Lake really is the perfect getaway. The house sleeps up to 7 people; there is one bedroom with a double bed and single bunkbed, the second bedroom has two single beds and if you need extra sleeping space you will find a sofa bed in the living area. Next to the bedrooms is the bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. From the double patio doors you walk into a spacious open plan L-shaped living, dining and kitchen area; the fully equipped kitchen boasts an electric fan-assisted oven, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, a full size fridge freezer with a full range of crockery, cutlery, cookware and cooking utensils. Within the kitchen is a dining table with 4 chairs. This leads around to the lounge area with a sofa, TV with UK free view channels, DVD and CD player. Outside is a large wrap around terrace offering great views of the lake and grounds. There is a BBQ, outside table with 6 chairs and at the side of the house is a small table and benches where you can sit and look out over the lake and swimming pool. You can amuse yourself with a game of pool or darts that is under a shelter at the back of the house and cool off in the above ground swimming pool (open from May to September, or longer if weather is permitting). Wifi is available at the Cabin Lake.
