Welcome to BluesLake carp fishery, holidays for the big carp experience, a Belgian carp fishing paradise within 2 hours drive from Calais no toll roads and only two main roads to negotiate.

Our newly acquired lake is roughly 150m from the main lake and is around 5 acres in size, we have carp at the moment to over 47lb3oz recorded. Stock levels are good and has shown to be good runs water; we are also introducing new stock in march, ordered ready for the new season.
 
The lake depths are very similar to the main lake ranging from 1 to 4m; all around the lake are mature lily pads and trees surrounding the lake. We have made three very large double swims all on one bank and each swim is accessible by car, in each swim is a purpose built wooden hut for storing essentials or as an eating area they are basic but do the job. Having the swims all on one bank allows you to fish the whole lake with no disturbances, one advantage also is a small pathway around the lake which allows you to bait up on the far banks.

You have full use of the facilities on the main lake and we can also supply one of our boats for your use, if you wish you can bring your own which anglers have done in the past, just be mindful of other anglers. The same as the main lake all types of bait work so if you have bait that you are confident with then it will work here.

We have set the price at an affordable price for an angling holiday abroad with stunning fish and still the chance of catching large carp but also the possibility of fish that we are not aware of.

Blues Lake 1 - 7 Acres 

The following rules are there for the welfare of the fish, fellow anglers and the fishery.
 
1. RODS , 3 rods are allowed at any one time and must not be left unattended.

2.   HOOKS & RIGS , Strong hooks no larger than size2, all rigs to be fish friendly, no fixed leads or bent hook rigs. Please make sure all rigs allow fish to free themselves if breakage occurs. Bailiff will check if he feels these are not being followed.
 
3. LINE , minimum 12 to 15lb breaking strain mono to be used. Braid can be used in conjunction with min 2ft of tubing and hook length of a lower breaking strain.
 
4.   UNHOOKING MATS, NETS ETC , Each angler will be supplied with mat, weigh sling (Nash xl cradle and weigh sling). Mat and sling are large enough for 60lb+ carp. Your landing net should be min 42inch not supplied by us.
 
5.   SACKING OF FISH , fish may only be sacked to either rest the fish or for a short period whilst getting ready for photographs or weighing.
 
6.   BAIT BOATS , you may use bait boats providing they are used sensibly and with regard to other anglers. Also available to hire if required.
 
7. ON SITE BOATS , These may be used in the event of a snagged fish or for light baiting. BUOYANCY AIDS PROVIDED SHALL BE WORN WHILST IN THE BOAT AT ALL TIMES . If you wish to bring your own boat that is fine, no jet ski or power boats. (at own risk)
 
8.   LITTER , plastic sacks will be provided. Please note due to strict rules in Belgium, can you separate paper, plastic and glass into separate bags.
 
9.   BARBECUES , only to be used at either fishing hut.
 
10. BAIT , Please note we will be supplying particle and pellet at the lake from 2015 which is all pre-prepared and of top quality, and at reasonable prices. No nuts used of any kind.
 
11.Blues1 swim number 2, This will be made available for anglers with any disabilities or their guests
which can be pre booked- please note this is not a disabled swim but better access to the facilities.
 
12. swim allocation is by a draw on the day of arrival.
