Het Broek

In the carp fishing water you will find common-, mirror- and grass carp  up to 60 lbs. Surrounding the beautifully situated carp lake there are 6 carp fishing spots of which 4 are opened up for use. 2 Fishing spots are closed to give the guests more space and the carp their rest.
 
Every carp fishing spot has its own lockable storage facility. Here you can store all materials that belong to the corresponding carp fishing spot. There I also a power point where you can charge your electronic equipment. A refrigerator is provided for you use.
 
In the clubhouse a separate lockable section is equipped for the carp fishers. Here you can use the toilet and shower. There also is a microwave and powerpoints for your use.
 
You can park your car at the fenced and gravelled parking area on the venue grounds.
The carp fishing lake is opened all through the year.
 
Furthermore there is a quarantine container available to be able to treat possible unwell fish.
 
Het Broek is well known internationally. Fisherman from Germany, England, Scotland, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Belgium and France have visited Het Broek

It is required
To arrive at 11.00 am. It is not possible to arrive earlier or later because of the required attendance of the manager +31 6 17 47 54 31..
To depart at 10.00 am. It is not possible to depart earlier or later because of the required attendance of the manager.
To disinfects wounds with, for example, a Korda Carp Care Kit.
To cooperate at a check of your fishing material by the owner or manager of the venue.
To take your fisher colleagues on other fishing spot into account when using food boats.
To keep water at hand for damping the fish on the unhooking mat.
To rinse the unhooking mat directly after use to avoid cross-contamination with possible parasites.
To  keep you fishing spot orderly. Please use the garbage cans placed at each fishing spot.
To use the toilet facilities if you need to and keep the rest of the venue clean.
To take responsibility for your children and belongings. We are not accountable for accidents or theft at the venue.
To leash dogs at the venue and dispose of their droppings.
To  fish only for carp and use quality fishing materials.
To use hooks equipped with microbarb.
To fish with a ‘free lead system’.
To treat a caught fish animal friendly, disinfect it with First Aid, Klink or similar product and of course release the fish into the water as soon as possible.
To use bivy’s or tents with a natural or green camouflage print

It is prohibited
To use more than 3 carp fishing rods per fisher.
To use twined main lines, leadcore.
To bring along your own unhooking mat, weighing bags and landings nets. Unhooking mat, weighing bags, landings nets and wheelbarrows are provided at the venue. (a bond of EUR 50,- per set is required)
To use conservation bags .
To use hooks bigger than size 4.
To use fixed lead systems. Please use safetyrigs. Make sure the lead fixation can slide over any knot (for example when using a shock leader). Inline lead and safety clips are allowed .
To use rowing boats.
To play loud music or use bright lights.
To use unguarded rodpods.
To make open fire. Barbeques are allowed.
To swim, wade or use waders.
To mark, steal or maim fish. Violation of this rule will be followed by legal action.
To use homemade pearls. Prepared particles of Grainbaits, Dynamite Baits, Proline, Aas voor Karper, All-in Particles etc. are allowed with exception of peanuts. The use of peanuts is strictly prohibited.
To use drugs or consume excessive amounts of alcohol.
To fish in water surrounding the carp fishing water.
To fish for species of fish other than Carp.
To receive guests at the venue.
To fish over the centerline of the fishing water.
