Lac Clement

Lac Clement is a stunning 7 acre carp fishing lake in France. Situated in the Normandy countryside close to the historic town of Mortain. The fishery is within a comfortable distance of all the main ferry ports making it a perfect destination for your French carp fishing trip. The lake was created 40 years a go by the previous owner and in that time the lake and it's surroundings have flourished becoming a beautifully secluded fishery with plenty of bank side cover and a good stock of large french carp. Our on site facilities are excellent and include a shower block and a separate mobile home, these are open for all our anglers to use 24 hours a day. You can also take advantage of our fantastic food package,  all cooked from fresh daily. Bait is also available and can be delivered to your swim as and when you need it. Stocked with fast growing French carp to over 60lb and with purpose built swims & facilities, everything is in place to make Lac Clement the perfect Carp fishing holiday destination in France.
 
We are a family run business and we are always on site to make sure all our anglers feel looked after and enjoy the whole experience at Lac Clement. It is important to us that all our anglers feel welcome and we make every effort to provide a quality service. Seeing people having a great holiday is what matters to us more than anything else. 

Lac Clement is a beautiful lake of around 7 acres in size and
it varies in depths from 2ft at the shallowest point to 14 ft at
the deeper dam end and the average depth is around 7 ft.
There is no weed to contend with and the bottom varies from soft silt spots to rock and gravel. Because the lake is spring fed and with flow from the surrounding stream, water is constantly running through providing oxygen and keeping the depth at a set level. There is a small island at the one end of the lake with depths from 4 to 6 ft around it. 
 
No vehicle access is allowed around the lake but we provide trolleys for you to get your kit to the swims.

We have created 8 well spaced swims each with plenty of water and staging to land the carp safely. We limit the number of anglers to 4 for individual bookings and 6 for groups giving each angler lots of space and the opportunity to move if necessary. The carp move well around the whole lake so the fishing is good in all the different areas and big carp can be caught from every swim. 

On site Facilities at Lac Clement include a nice clean Shower block with 
power shower and an English flushing Toilet.

There is also a mobile home with the following facilities: -

* Freezers onsite for bait
* Unhooking mats and weigh slings provided at no extra cost

Leaders are allowed but rig checks will be made to check that they are safe. 
Leads on a lead clip must be set up to come off, please use another rig if you do not want to lose leads.
