Lake One offers Exclusive Carp Fishing for a group of up to 3 anglers, lake record of 56lb a stunning common - this lake has plenty of surprises.
Last season we netted the lake and then added 30 new fish ranging from 17lb to 24lb a mix of mirror, leather & common carp, they’ve had a good first season in 2020 mixed with longer resting periods than usual however we’ve seen good growth already and now they are preparing for 2021.

The lake is 2.3 acres, 4 spacious swims one of them a double (3) and another has two singles close for a social (1) & (2) swim (4) a single tucked away in the far right corner next to the dam wall currently holds the most caught in a week by one angler (594lb)

Depths range from 3.5ft to 6.5ft the shallower water starts from the Dam wall the deepest water at swims (1) & (2). Drop offs, caves inside of the margins and a old riverbed at 1.5m to 2m wide that runs from the dam wall to the sleuth in the middle of the lake all of these spots are good places to pick fish off. Access is available all around the venue.

Stock : Large stock of Mirrors & Commons to 56lb , 3 fish over 50lb and 6 fish close to breaking that weight mark. Lots of fish 30lb to 45lb. 30 new fish 17lb to 24lb introduced 2019.
Other species : Zander (Lake record 9lb) & Crucian
Lake bed : Clay
Features : Over hanging bushes, Drop offs, Dam Wall, Riverbed & Sleuth.
Access : Walk all around the lake.
Bait Boats : Yes this is allowed.
Bailiff : Maxime lives very close to the lake and speaks great English.

Clay Lake 2

No unattended rods.
Three rods maximum per angler.
Boilies, Carp Pellets & Babycorn only nothing else.
No Plastic or Artifical baits.
Safe only rigs, if in doubt just ask us.
Unleaded/Safety leaders & Tubing only.
No braided Mainline, 15lb minimum mono.
Micro barb only.
Bait Boats are allowed.
Give fish 5 minutes recovery in the net or longer if they need it.
Carp care treatment to be applied if needed. You must supply your own also available on site from our Bailiff.
Fish to be returned to the water as soon as possible.
All vehicles to be parked in the car park after loading/unloading.
No swimming, wading or inflatable boats.
Fire Pits and BBQ’s are available on site. No floor fires.
Please respect the wildlife and venue, refrain from leaving litter such as bottle tops and cigarette ends.
Leave all litter correctly seperated in the Recycle Bins provided any other general waste needs to be taken off site with you. (Waste bins are available on the toll roads)
Unused baits are to be taken home with you unless its donated to the bailiff, please do not put your remaining feed in the lake.
We will not be held responsible for any personal injuries, illness or losses.
We reserve the right to terminate your stay with us if we deem your behaviour unacceptable towards our fish, clients or environment.
