Étang de Mimi

Located in the beautiful French region of the Champagne Ardennes, We're easily accessible from the Rail and ferry ports of Calais in under 3 1/2 hrs!

Set within a fenced private estate of 12 acres, a peaceful secure environment allows anglers to relax & concentrate on big Carp Fishing!
The Angling results at Etang de Mimi have been described as 'second to none' by some of the few that have been lucky enough to fish from its banks so far! 
Etang de Mimi is a natural clay based spring fed lake of around 5.5 acres.

Set in the peaceful French countryside of the Champagne Ardenne, approximately 3.5 hours from Calais, the lake is available to be booked for week long, (7 night) trips from Saturday to Saturday although some long weekends of 4 nights can sometimes be booked subject to availability.

There are 8 spacious swims which have been prepared with anglers needs and comforts in mind.   Max 5 anglers per booking. 

The lake holds a head of around 200 Carp, mostly mirrors, with some big commons and a few grass carp making up the numbers.
The resident catfish weighed in at around 135 lbs last time he was banked and is the only 'cat' in the lake!

The perfect combination of natural and needed, our new lodge facilities give your fishing experience that extra bit of comfort!    We include; 
​Kitchen area with Electric hob, Microwave Cooker, Fridges, freezer, Table & chairs, Dartboard.
UK sockets for charging mobile phones, Bait boats, cameras etc.
​Clean Bathroom  with Shower, Basin W.C.
Lake rowing boat for baiting up etc.

1. RESPECT THE FISHERY AND ITS INHABITANTS.
2. 5 MPH SPEED LIMIT DOWN ACCESS TRACK. DO NOT BLOCK THE ACCESS TRACK - FARM VEHICLES USE CONSTANTLY!
3. KEEP GATES LOCKED UPON ARRIVAL - (BY ORDER OF LOCAL MAYOR).
4. ALL NETS / MATS THAT ARE WET UPON ARRIVAL MUST BE DIPPED BEFORE FISHING.
5. 3 ROD LIMIT. MINIMUM 15 lbs b.s. MAIN LINE.
6.UNHOOKING MATS / CRADLES MINIMUM SIZE 30 X 24 INCHES.
7. NO CARP SACKS.  WEIGH SLINGS NOT TO BE USED FOR RETAINING CARP FOR PERIODS OF MORE THAN 30 MINUTES. ALWAYS WET UNHOOKING MATS / CRADLES BEFORE USE. 
8. CARP CARE KIT ARE COMPULSORY! TREAT ANY DAMAGED FISH MOUTHS / SORES.
9. NO MAKER POLES OR FLOATS TO BE LEFT OUT WHILST FISHING.
10. BAIT BOATS ARE ALLOWED.
11. ONLY FISH FROM DESIGNATED SWIMS. 
12. DO NOT CUT BACK ANY BRANCHES OR VEGETATION AROUND THE FISHERY.
13. ALL RIGS MUST BE SAFETY RIGS - IF YOU ARE UNSURE - ASK!
14. NO UN COATED BRAIDED HOOK LINKS. ( COATED BRAIDED HOOK LINKS ARE ALLOWED).
15. DO NOT ENTER FENCED OFF AREAS TO FISH OR BAIT SWIMS. 
16. MICRO BARBS ONLY. NO BARBLESS HOOKS. RIG CHECKS WILL BE MADE.
17. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR RODS UNATTENDED! DO NOT STAND WITH FISH FOR PICTURES.
18. NO HOME PREPARED PARTICLE. NO NUT BAITS, ONLY TIGER NUTS SUPPLIED BY US.
19. DO NOT USE THE BOAT WITHOUT A LIFE JACKET.
20. LOCK THE LODGE AND GATES UPON DEPARTURE IF REQUESTED. 
21.  DO NOT MOVE THE BBQ. 
22. NO BONFIRES. NO LITTER WHATSOEVER. NO CIGARETTE BUTTS TO BE FLICKED ANYWHERE! 
23. SWEEP OUT THE LODGE AND REMOVE ALL RUBBISH UPON YOUR DEPARTURE. TAKE RUBBISH AWAY WITH YOU. PLEASE EMPTY THE FRIDGE AND DO NOT LEAVE ANY OPENED FOOD STUFF FOR OTHERS. 
24. KEEP LODGE DOORS CLOSED AT NIGHT. 
25. NO DOGS WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT.
