Description
Between 5 and 6 acres in size, Lac Noir is another piece of paradise, surrounded by forests but also ideally located next to our main barn, very easy access for food, toilets and general amenities. The lake is surrounded by reeds on three sides and the beautiful forest backdrops really enhance the photo of any fish or scenic shots, depths vary greatly from a few ft to nearly 30ft. The majority of the lake is clay bottom with very little weed, never dismiss the margins on Noir as they are a carp haven at certain times of year! There are 5 pegs in total, all comfortable casting distances, in total we are aiming to have 180 carp by the start of the 2021 season, like the main lake, this is not a difficult water to catch from but you have to put a little effort and thought in to maximise results.
Rules
1. Please use common sense with all aspects of fishing and fish care and please be courtesy at all times with your fellow anglers. 2. Maximum 3 rods per anglers, Banksy the dog is good at finding the sneaky snides! 3. No braided mainline, it’s not big, its not hard and to be honest it’s not needed on our almsost snag free venue! 4. All vehicles to be returned to the car parks after dropping tackle off for the week, any vehicles left by the pegs will be assumed to be left as a gift for Lee! 5. Do not drive on the grass, Lee takes as much pride in his grass as Ian Roper of Linear Fisheries does, you have been warned! 6. If you are too intoxicated through drink or drugs then please see Lee for details of local nightlife, he will reel your rods in for you and show you the way there until you are sober enough to return! 7. Please do not bring any of your dirty and smelly nets, retainers or mats, slings or sacks. We provide our own for you, admittedly not to save your vehicles from smelling, but to save our beautiful fish from disease! 8. There are no bait bans, but this doesn’t mean you bring 100kg of nuts, please refer to point 1!
