Lac de barrage de Saint-Philbert
The Saint-Philbert dam lake is located in the town of Saint-Philbert-sur-Orne, 45 minutes from Caen, in the department of Orne (61), in the Normandy region. It is in fact a compensation basin built downstream from Lake Rabodanges. Much shallower than Rabodanges, Saint-Philbert is nonetheless populated with large carp, bream, roach and also pikeperch and pike of good size. Some carp greatly exceed 10 kilos. It is preferable to bring a boat to better explore the lake. Recently opened to night carp fishing, carp anglers will be seduced by the tranquility of the place and the exceptional site. Public lake

Rules
Night carp fishing can take place from January 1 to December 31. At night, only “vegetable” or “fruity” type baits and baits (seeds, boilies, etc.) may be used. Carp anglers will have to equip themselves with “khaki” or “camouflage” camping equipment. Night fishing cannot be practiced other than from the shore (fishing by boat, boat, night float-tube prohibited). Navigational equipment is authorized for the installation of rigs and baiting (bait boat, boat). The use of storage bags is strictly prohibited and the use of receiving mats is strongly recommended.
