La Seine – Parcours PK 260 – 283
This night carp course is located between PK 260 - 283, or between the municipalities of Bouille and Caudebec-en-Caux, in the department of Seine-Maritime (76), in the Normandy region. The Seine is a French river, 776 kilometers long, which flows in the Paris Basin and waters in particular Troyes, Paris, Rouen and Le Havre. Its source is located at an altitude of 446 meters at Source-Seine, in Côte-d´Or, on the Langres plateau. Its course has a general orientation from south-east to north-west. It flows into the English Channel between Le Havre and Honfleur. The Seine is navigable for a large part of its route. It offers a great fish wealth with the presence of many species of white fish, predators and cyprinids. The fishing pressure is relatively low and the carp are not suspicious. The main difficulty of fishing lies in the wind and the current which is quite strong especially at the beginning of the season. But it is all these random conditions that make the charm of river fishing ... The carp are cut to fight against the current and offer magnificent fights. For posts, it will be necessary to look first for posts sheltered from the current, a dead arm, an island point, a hole followed by a shoal and congested places (submerged branches, grass beds, water lilies).
