Villeneuve de la Raho lake
It is a body of water well known to local carp anglers for the carp fishing that was carried out there in the early 2000s. The lake of Villeneuve de la Raho extends over 230 hectares with an average depth of about 6 meters and regular funds . It offers the possibility of practicing a multitude of fishing techniques. The lake has a great fish density with a beautiful population of predators (pike, pike perch and perch of good size) and is home to a large herd of common and mirror carp for which it will be necessary to be patient to go and look for them. Good spots are generally located beyond 150 meters . It will also be necessary to establish a rigorous priming strategy to divert carp from the natural food that abounds in the lake. After years of high fishing pressure, the Villeneuve Lake of Raho is now much more difficult to catch. Nevertheless, with patience, precision and a little success, we can have a great time there.
