La Bourbeuse
The Bourbeuse night carp course is located between the towns of Allenjoie and Froidefontaine, in the department of Territoire de Belfort (90), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. The Bourbeuse is a French river that crosses the territory of Belfort from east to west, a tributary of the Allaine and a sub-tributary of the Rhône via the Doubs and the Saône. Lazy meandering lowland waterway, it was cut off part of its length during the construction of the Rhône-Rhine Canal at the beginning of the 19th century. The presence of the canal affects its hydrological regime and its ecology, by allowing different exchanges of water and species, in particular promoting the circulation of invasives. It offers great fish wealth with the presence of many species of white fish (bleak, roach, bream, barbel, tench), predators (pike, pike perch, perch, catfish) and common wild carp and mirrors of intermediate size with large large subjects up to 30 kg. The fishing pressure is relatively low and the carp are not suspicious. The main difficulty of fishing lies in the wind and the current which is quite strong especially at the beginning of the season. But it is all these random conditions that make the charm of river fishing ... The carp are cut to fight against the current and offer magnificent fights.
