The Lac des Saints-Peyres is a dam lake located in the municipalities of Vintrou, Lasfaillades, Anglès and Saint-Amans-Valtoret, in the Tarn department (81) , in the Occitanie region. With an area of 211 hectares and a length of 10 kilometers , the Lac des Saints-Peyres offers a magnificent and wild setting in the heart of steep gorges and valleys. Crisscrossing the Arn river at an altitude of 670 meters, it is given the reputation of a Canadian lake with a maximum depth of 25 meters. It is a site very popular with nature lovers and fishermen for its exceptional environment. It should be noted that few spaces have been developed and its attendance remains limited by accessibility, the Lac des Saints-Peyres is a pleasure to be earned. It is home to a rich fish diversity with a large predator population (pike, pike perch, perch, brown trout and rainbow trout) and a good density of wild common and mirror carp of intermediate size with individuals weighing up to 20 kg.
