Yerres - Sector Gord in Boussy ‐ Saint‐ Antoine - is a French river that crosses the departments of Seine-et-Marne (77), Essonne (91) and Val-de-Marne (94), in the Île-de-France region. With a course of 98 kilometers, Yerres has its source in Seine-et-Marne, in the town of Guérard. The river is called “ru des Tournelles” before becoming Yerres downstream from the Guerlande pond. The river flows into the Seine at Villeneuve-Saint-Georges in the Val-de-Marne. It is a tributary of the right bank of the Seine. The Yerres is a calm river, varying in depth from 1 to 6 meters depending on the clayey areas it crosses and winds between cultivated fields and forests. It has a good fish diversity in white fish, predators and common carp of intermediate size.
