Lake Vinça is located near the town of the same name, about 30 kilometers upstream from Perpignan, in the department of Pyrénées-Orientales (66) , in the Occitanie region.

Created on the Tet River , Lake Vinça, with an area of ​​176 hectares, is formed by the dam built in 1976.

Its level is coupled with the lake of Bouillouses, located upstream, to also serve for the irrigation of the plain of Roussillon. It is used above all to limit floods and to regulate low water levels.

 At the heart of a wild and unspoiled nature, Lake Vinça presents a rich and diverse environment with exceptional flora and fauna that will delight all nature and fishing enthusiasts.

It is home to a high fish density of predators (pike, pike perch, perch, brown and rainbow trout) and a remarkable herd of common and mirror carp of intermediate size with large subjects .

A peaceful setting that should be appreciated by all.

No carp may be kept in captivity or transported.
The practice of No-kill is mandatory.
Obligation to cast lines from his fishing post.
Prohibition to drop lines using a boat.
Baiting is carried out from the bank (boat or a remote-controlled boat are strictly prohibited).
The fisherman will have to signal his presence by a luminous device.
