The Gour Noir dam lake is located on the Vézère river, near the town of Uzerche, in the Corrèze department (19), in the New Aquitaine region. In the center of a rich and preserved nature, with an area of 40 hectares and a length of almost 4 kilometers , the Retenue du Gour Noir is a magnificent dam lake fed by the Vézère river. With an exceptional fauna and flora, the Retenue du Gour Noir will delight all lovers of wild nature and fishing. It offers a great fish diversity with the presence of many predators (pike, pike-perch, perch and Fario and rainbow trout) and a remarkable herd of common wild carp and mirrors of intermediate size with very beautiful subjects reaching 20kg.
