Rochebut Reservoir
The Rochebut reservoir is a dam lake located in the municipalities of Teillet Argenty and Mazirat in the department of Allier (03) in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. In the wild setting of the Val de Cher , it is a 158 hectare reservoir fed by two rivers, the Cher on the left bank and the Tardes on the right bank. Located in an area of rugged and steep gorges, it is a privileged fishing spot in the Allier department given its piscicultural potential, it has a high density of white fish (bleak, roach) and predator (pikeperch, pike) , perch) and cyprinids. There is also a high concentration of catfish there. The use of a boat is strongly recommended if you want to access the wildest places and therefore less frequented.
