Arguenon Dam
The Arguenon dam is located between the towns of Pleven and Jugon-les-Lacs , in the Côtes-d'Armor department (22) , in the Brittany region. This large dam lake, 17 kilometers long , is one of the wildest in the department with an area of 200 hectares and a depth of between 2 and 11 meters. It belongs to the Departmental Drinking Water Supply Union and is one of the large drinking water supply reservoirs in Côtes-d'Armor . In a natural and unspoiled setting , it is a magnificent site very popular with tourists, nature lovers and fishermen (Renowned for its population of large pike-perch). It offers great fishing opportunities and is home to a rich fish diversity of white fish (bleak, roach, bream, tench, rudd), very large predators (pike, pike perch, perch) and common carp and mid-sized mirrors. with beautiful subjects. The carp are not very numerous with regard to the area of the dam but it is one of the bodies of water where one can touch the biggest subjects of the department.

Fishing with vegetable baits only. The lines must be stretched from the edge and not with the help of a boat. Any carp caught, regardless of the time of day, will be immediately released - storage bag prohibited. Only neutral colored fishing shelters or Biwys are authorized.
