Jugon-les-Lacs pond
The Jugon-les-Lacs pond is located near the town of the same name, in the Côtes-d'Armor department (22) , in the Brittany region. Mecca of carp fishing since it is on this lake that Jean-Louis Bunel organized alongside Maurice Le Branchu the first enduro . Today this place steeped in history around our passion contains a very good herd of carp but in full reconstruction . Indeed, if in the past the bar of 20 kg, and even 25 kg, had been crossed fairly regularly, a very high mortality in 2005 to which must be added many illegal transfers of large fish, wiped out the fabulous herd . Since 2006, the AAPPMA of Jugon les Lacs and the Fishing Federation have undertaken a number of nurseries and the many small carps are growing well and making the fishermen happy. The 10 kg bar is now regularly crossed, and some large old fish (over 15 kg) provide regular surprises.

Fishing with vegetable baits only. The lines must be stretched from the edge and not with the help of a boat. Any carp caught, regardless of the time of day, will be immediately released - storage bag prohibited. Only neutral colored fishing shelters or Biwys are authorized.
