The Lac de Filheit is a natural site around Le Mas-d'Azil in the department of Ariège (09) , in the Occitanie region. It is a reservoir of 62 hectares intended for irrigation. The shores of this lake, popular with fishermen, are ideal for beautiful walks. From Mas d'Azil a marked loop allows you to go around it. It is very popular with fishermen because it has a rich fish diversity in white fish (roach, rudd, bleak, chub), predators (pike, pike perch, Black-bass, perch) and a beautiful population of common and mirror carp.
