Ballastière de Plain Perche
Ballastière de Plain Perche is located in the town of Ayvelles , in the Ardennes (08) department, in the Grand-Est region. Covering an area of 20 hectares, this pond is the second largest, which also makes it a superb fishing spot. The population of white fish is impressive there: beautiful roach, bream, bleak, can fill your basket when the fish are hungry. As on the Padua ballast pit , it is possible to lead fishing, so feeder fishing can be very interesting. It is also a very popular place for carp anglers who find beautiful carp specimens there . Predators are not to be outdone, perch, pike, pike-perch are very present there. Catfish are also very active on this lake. The ballast pits are well maintained and access is fairly easy over most of their periphery. The Meuse river and the Ballastière de La Padoue are nearby.
