La Ballastière La Padoue is located in the town of Ayvelles, in the Ardennes (08) department, in the Grand-Est region. Covering an area of 43 hectares, it is the largest of the ponds. La Ballastière La Padoue conceals very beautiful specimen carp. White fish are very present especially with bream easily exceeding the kilos. On the predator side, we obviously find pike, pike perch, but above all huge catfish over 2 meters and over 60 kilos ... The ballast pits are well maintained and access is fairly easy over most of their periphery. The Meuse river and the Plain Perche Ballastière are nearby.
