The large reservoir of Vioreau
The large reservoir of Vioreau is a lake in the Loire-Atlantique department (44) , located in the town of Joué-sur-Erdre , in the Pays-de-la-Loire region. This is the largest reservoir in the department . Covering an area of 210 hectares , it is usually subdivided into two sub-groups: Lac de Vioreau ( 180 hectares ) and Petit Vioreau ( 32 hectares). It is connected to Lake Provostière by the Rigole des Ajaux. The Vioreau site (with that of La Provostière in Riaillé) is classified as a Natura 2000 Zone . Many remarkable plant species are listed there, as well as many birds coming to the lake. It offers good fishing conditions and has a good predominantly pike-perch and perch predator population as well as a good population of mid-sized common and mirror carp with beautiful individuals. Very popular with fishing enthusiasts and wild nature enthusiasts.

Rules
Vegetable baits are the only authorized baits. The baiting must be reasonable, the rigs used adapted to the place of fishing. The lines must be stretched at 90 ° to the shore.
