The Val d'Auron lake is an artificial lake located in the town of Bourges, in the department of Cher (18), in the Center Val de Loire region. Covering an area of 73 hectares, the Val d'Auron lake is located less than 2 kilometers from the city center of Bourges, it is a magnificent site made up of natural environments made up of vast expanses of grass and marsh, in a rural and wooded setting. Composed of a central islet where you can observe the ornithological diversity named “Bird Island”. With a rich fish diversity of predators (pike, pike perch, perch) and white fish and a remarkable herd of common and mirror carp, it is a popular site for fishermen and nature lovers. You can also practice many water activities such as sailing, rowing, canoeing or simply strolling on the shores.
