Lake of Biscarrosse and Parentis
Lac de Biscarrosse et de Parentis is located in the Landes (40) department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It is one of the largest Landes lakes in the South West of France. It is a natural lake of 3,600 hectares recognized for its stocking at the national level. It is rich in predators (pike and pikeperch of good size, perch) and white fish (bleak, roach, bream) and has a good population of common and mirror carp of intermediate size with subjects easily reaching 20 kg. It is a Natura 2000 classified site. Very popular with lovers of wild nature and fishermen.
