Lake Lavaud Gelade is a dam lake located in the municipalities of Royère-de-Vassivière, Saint-Marc-à-Loubaud and Gentioux-Pigerolles, in the department of Creuse, in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region. Covering an area of 285 hectares, it is one of the largest lakes in the Creuse. It is a wild and unspoiled site, with varied landscapes with remarkable flora and fauna. Located in the Millevaches Regional Nature Park, between meadows, moors, coniferous or deciduous forest, it is a lake very popular with nature lovers and fishermen, it offers a good fish density of white fish, predators (Pike perch , pike, perch) and cyprinids.
