Rochereau lake

The Rochereau lake extends over 5 municipalities: Sigournais, Monsireigne, Bazoges en Pareds and Tallud Ste Gemme, in Vendée (85), in the Pays de la Loire region. It lives up to its name, a wide valley interspersed with grassy and rocky hillsides. This lake is the largest drinking water reserve in the Grand Lay Valley (125 ha) with the drinking water supply plant. Every ten years, it is emptied to be cleaned. As far as carp fishing is concerned, Rochereau lake has many stumps in places and the edge of the bed is interesting. The carp are numerous despite a low average weight but which is compensated by many departures. Public lake:

It is prohibited day and night to transport live a carp of more than 60 cm. From one ½ after going to bed to one ½ after rising, no carp caught by anglers may be kept in captivity or transported.
