Lac des Settons
The Lac des Settons is located in the department of Nièvre (58), in the southwest of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. This public domain of 360 hectares located in the heart of the Morvan Natural Park, offers 3 kilometers of night fishing routes between the two main water inlets (La Cure and Le Lyonnet). It is made up of 2 sectors. They are almost contiguous and face the two islands of the lake. Its proximity to the Paris-Lyon motorway, places it only 2 hours from Paris and makes it the ideal place for a weekend. The last emptying dates from 2008, but during this one, all the big carp had been kept and put back in the lake during the restocking. Beautiful subjects weighing more than 20 kg navigate the clear waters of the Settons… To the 4,400 kg of large fish from the emptying, 6 tonnes of new carp have been added. Well repopulated with pike and perch as well, the lake has more recently benefited from a substantial nursery of pike perch. With an average depth of 4-5 meters, this lake is still 16 meters deep at the dike and offers the fish population a considerable space of freedom.

No carp caught by amateur anglers may be kept in captivity or transported from half an hour after sunset until half an hour before sunrise. Authorized navigation, thermal engine without power limitation, little tidal range, launchings accessible all year round. Only boilies and baits of vegetable origin are authorized during night fishing.
