The Valette dam lake is located near the town of Saint-Pardoux-la-Croisille, in the department of Corrèze (19), in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. In the heart of the Ventadour region, in a wild and unspoiled setting, surrounded by greenery, Lake Marcillac has an area of 224 hectares and is 8 kilometers in length. These surroundings, made up of meadows, wooded plots or summer residences, are on a relatively gentle slope. These accesses are easy. It offers great fishing possibilities. All types of fishing are practicable from the shore or by boat (motor authorized). It has a beautiful fish diversity in white fish, predators (pikeperch, perch, pike) and common carp and mirrors of intermediate size. An exceptional destination very popular with lovers of nature and wide open spaces.

Drowned road upstream of the Lantourne bridge, right bank (-10 m). Information: Leisure center on site open year round. Supervised swimming on 2 beaches. Water-ski school.
