Lake Gajševsko
Gajševsko lake is situated near the village of Gajševci in the Pomurska region. It is the largest man-made lake in the area and is most popular amongst fishermen, who fish the its waters for enormous carp. A more than 3-kilometer footpath snakes around the lake and is continuously besieged by the loud chirping of different bird species. The number of young fish is huge and it is re-stocked every year. The total surface of the lake is 68 ha.

Fishing in all districts of RD Ljutomer is allowed on two fishing rods and with the associated fishing equipment - except for predatory fish and with a valid fishing permit. Permitted catch days and minimum length of fish in the sport-fishing districts of RD Ljutomer: 1. pcs. carp - 30 cm or (in the catch and release mode no prey is allowed) Any fisherman who arranges a fishing place does so at his own risk and thus has no right to drive another fisherman out of that place. We also ask all fishermen to clean their fishing place and not to throw rubbish into nature. It is forbidden to carry and store live fish in various plastic packaging, containers - buckets, etc. It is forbidden to hunt "under ice" in winter. It means that it is forbidden to break the ice and thus disturb the fish or. to fish in this way. Fishing and feeding fish with remote-controlled boats is prohibited. After the end of fishing, the position must be cleaned, all rubbish must be removed and the fishing position and surroundings must be left in their original condition.
