L’Aveyron – Parcours Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val

The Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val night carp course is located on the course of the Aveyron river, in the Tarn-et-Garonne department (82), in the Occitanie region. The Aveyron is a river in the south of France, which crosses the departments of Aveyron (12), Tarn (81) and Tarn-et-Garonne (82). It is a right tributary of the Tarn therefore a sub-tributary of the Garonne. 290.6 km long, Aveyron rises near Sévérac-le-Château, in Aveyron, and flows into the Tarn north-west of Montauban. It crosses varied landscapes, Causse de Sévérac, Pays ruthénois, Ségala, etc. She created gorges from Najac, to Montricoux, in Tarn-et-Garonne. This PDN is located on a small reach (less than a kilometer), the carp density is relatively high and the average weight remains nice. Be careful, fishing in summer is complicated there because of a very large number of canoes.

Fishing with vegetable baits only. No carp caught by amateur anglers may be held in captivity or transported from half an hour after sunset until half an hour before sunrise. The biwys (or fishing tent) must be green or camouflage (prohibition of tents of other colors). Navigation: Boat with electric motor authorized. Bait boat authorized. Boat with petrol engine prohibited. Access route: Coming from the road to Caussade (D958), enter the village of Saint Antonin, immediately after the Bonnette bridge, turn right on the boulevard de la Condamine. Continue 150 meters then turn right at the lime kiln path. Continue 100 meters, then turn left towards the Moulin de Roumégous.
