Lake Viverone
Viverone Lake is located 230 above sea level between the districts of ROD, Vercelli and Ivrea in the moraine hills of the Serra. It has an area of approximately 6 km2 with a maximum depth of 70 m, its perimeter is 10,500 km. The length is 3,500 m and 2,600 m wide. The part of the lake to the south and west is rich in vegetation, while the northern part is urbanised with hotels, campsites and beaches. Ducks, mallards, coots, grebes and gulls make up the majority of the fauna; carp fishing is plentiful bounty with all respect, whitefish, perch, tench, pike and catfish.
