The water bodies of La Basse Plaine are a group of seven ponds located in the town of Douy in the department of Eure-et-Loir (28), in the Center Val de Loire region, in the North West of France . 

In a natural and unspoiled setting, with an area of ​​19 hectares in total, the lakes of La Basse Plaine are seven ponds specially dedicated to fishing, particularly for predator fishing and carp fishing. Night carp fishing is authorized on the following ponds: “Raoul Blavat” (3.3 hectares). “Vouvray” (3 hectares). “Les Îlots” (2.7 hectares). “La Dunoise” (2.1 hectares). This fishing site is nationally recognized and will delight all fishing and wilderness enthusiasts. 

This group of ponds has a large fish population with a large population of white fish (roach, bream, chub and tench), a good density of large predators (pike, pike perch, perch, black bass), and a very good density of pretty common carp of intermediate size. Note that the "Raoul Blavat" pond is the one that contains the largest specimens of common carp. 

This site even regularly hosts major national and international competitions.

Fishing only with vegetable baits or boilies. Single hook fishing. Use of Biwis. Luminous device to signal your presence. Black lead mandatory (ballast to keep the line on the bottom of the water).
