Lac de Charmes is a body of water located in the municipalities of Charmes, Changey, Neuilly l´êveque and bannes in the department of Haute-Marne (52), in the Grand Est region, in France. Lake Charmes is one of the four artificial reservoirs in the vicinity of Langres intended to ensure the navigability of the Marne-Saône canal. With an area of 197 hectares, in a rural and natural setting, it is a magnificent site offering great fishing possibilities. With a long profile, it is nearly 5 kilometers long. It is very popular with nature lovers, tourists and fishermen. It is like Lake Liez, famous for the size of its pike and carp. It has a rich fish diversity in white fish (roach, bleak, bream, tench) in predators (pike, pike perch, perch, catfish) and a beautiful population of common and mirror carp of intermediate size reaching for some more than 20 kg.

Fishing with vegetable baits only. Only from the edge using lines stretched perpendicular to the shore for a maximum length of 100 meters. The circulation of electrically powered boats is permitted throughout the lake. No carp caught by amateur anglers may be held in captivity or transported from half an hour after sunset until half an hour before sunrise. Information: Nautical activities on site: Paddle / Pedalo.
