The Lucien pond is located near the town of Frasne, in the Doubs department (25), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. Currently, in addition to the large natural pond, there are two municipal artificial ponds. The first was created in 1961 on part of the locality Les Vaudins and occupies an area of 17 hectares. It bears the name Étang Lucien in memory of Lucien Renaud who was the instigator. In the two communal ponds of Frasne, anglers can find carp, roach, rudd, gudgeon, perch and pike.
