Étang de Torcy-Vieux
The Etang de Torcy-Vieux (or Lac du Breuil) is a lake in the town of Le Breuil, in the department of Saône-et-Loire (71), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. In a peri-urban area but in a natural and rural setting, with an area of 71 hectares, the Torcy-Vieux pond is an ideal place for an outing or a fishing trip with family or friends. Shaped like a large Y, its two very wild and shallow tails meet to form the central part which leads to a magnificent freestone dike. With a maximum depth of 6 meters, it offers good fishing conditions and has a good fish density of white fish (bleak, roach, bream), a good population of predators (pike perch, large pike, perch, some catfish) and common carp of intermediate size with very beautiful subjects. It is a lake very popular with locals, walkers and fishermen for its wild side on the outskirts of the city.

Fishing will only be carried out using vegetable baits and from the banks. From half an hour after sunset to half an hour before sunrise, no carp caught by amateur anglers can be kept in captivity or transported. At all times, no carp over 60 centimeters may be transported alive. On the rivers belonging to the public domain, different uses are present. In all circumstances, priority is given to navigation.
