La Bourbince – Secteur Palinges
La Bourbince - Sector Palinges - is a river that flows in the department of Saône-et-Loire (71), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. It is a left tributary of the Arroux river, therefore a sub-tributary of the Loire river. 82 kilometers long, it originates in the weir of the Etang de Torcy which is itself fed by various streams at an altitude of 382 meters. North-east of Digoin, it flows into Arroux, on the left bank, at an altitude of 227 meters and then joins the Loire river. It offers good fishing conditions and has a good fish density of white fish (bleak, roach, bream), predators (pike perch, pike) and common carp of intermediate size.
