The Canal du Center - Sector Ciry-le-Noble - is a canal located in the department of Saône-et-Loire (71), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. The Canal du Center connects the town of Chalon-sur-Saône to that of Digoin and also links the Saône river to the Loire river. The main vector of local industrial development, the Canal du Center today presents attractive landscapes amidst vineyards and lush green meadows. Very used for its boating and very popular with nature lovers, tourists and fishermen for its wild and unspoiled side. It offers good fishing conditions and has a good fish density of white fish (bleak, roach, bream), predators (pike perch, pike, perch, some catfish) and common carp of intermediate size.
