The Ain River
The Ain river is a night carp course located in the department of Ain (01) , in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. L ' Ain is a French river which takes its source in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, in a narrow and wooded valley between the two villages Conte and La Favière at about 700 meters above sea level, in the department of Jura (39) . It flows into the Rhône on the right bank in the town of Saint-Maurice-de-Gourdans after having traveled 190 kilometers . It gave its name to the department of Ain . The Ain is a very beautiful wild river , the natural food is very abundant there which makes fishing difficult. In addition, there is very little access. The boat is therefore strongly recommended. The banks are very steep. It offers a rich fish diversity in predators (pike, pike perch, perch and catfish), cyprinids and a remarkable herd of common and mirror carp with beautiful subjects weighing 15 kg.
