La Loire – Secteur Chambilly
The Loire - Chambilly sector - is the longest river in France, with a length of 1006 kilometers, it crosses the department of Saône-et-Loire (71), in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Its source is on the southern slope of Mount Gerbier-de-Jonc, to the south-east of the Massif Central, in the department of Ardèche (07). Its mouth to the Atlantic Ocean is in the Loire-Atlantique department (44), in the west of the Pays de la Loire region. Its course takes place entirely in France.
