The Moulin Papon or Lac de Moulin Papon dam is located in the town of La Roche-sur-Yon , in Vendée (85) , in the Pays de la Loire region. Dam lake built in 1970 on the course of the Yon, this water reservoir extends over 3 municipalities: La Roche Sur Yon, Dompierre Sur Yon and La Ferriere. It supplies a drinking water plant with a capacity of 13,000m3 / day. The lake is located on the outskirts of La Roche Sur Yon, a lake close to shopping centers! A varied environment with steep, flat or wooded banks . Very easy to access from the shore and by boat. The seabed is quite diverse with many submerged buildings. Beautiful specimens of catfish have been reported.
