"When you are 85 years old and that's me, cheerful in life, then you belong to the strong (so they say..). Here too I turned out to be an astonishing novice; never before had anyone been carp fishing there at such an age. And then 'that particularity' becomes even greater when some things go wrong. The new bait boat turns out to be out of control, the boat does not respond to my signal to drop the bait. I will then tinker with the boat and that will also break things…"
